On Wednesday November 8th at approx. 1030 am Ladder 17 & Tender 1711 responded to 310 Main Street for a reported heater on fire inside of a 2.5 story multi-family dwelling. Units arrived to find nothing showing and quickly located the source of the smoke.
Approx. 6:36 AM Cedarville Fire (Station 17) was dispatched to 3000 Block of Cedarville Road. Caller stated the crawl space was on fire and the house was filling with smoke. Ladder 17 responded with a crew of 5 plus the driver and 1711 responded with a crew of 3 plus the driver.
At approx. 5:38 P.M. Ladder 17 & Tender 1711 were dispatched to 656 Ramah Road for a reported dwelling fire. Caller stated that there was a power dip and the heater quit and the house started filling with smoke.
Units were dispatched to 310 Main Street for a reported heater fire inside the residence. Ladder 17 & Tender 1711 arrived on scene and quickly found the problem. Squad 38 (Lawrence Township EMS) was also on scene.
At 11:58 am Lawrence Township EMS requested a helicopter for a trauma patient. 1701 landed Medivac 5 in the rear parking lot of the Cedarville Firehouse.
